Our Story
Created in 2019, Forage Solutions SRL was established by a group of animal nutritionists, agronomists, farmers, and businessmen involved in the animal production industries from different parts of the world. This energetic, dedicated group of professionals who embrace a philosophy of teamwork and openness cooperate with farmers and livestock herders to produce nutritious crops, healthier animals, and higher profits.
Having worked in and with different farms for several years, the founding core of Forage Solutions noticed the practical importance of alfalfa as an underutilized animal feed, the increasing demand for it, and the irregularities in pricing. This led them to come together to Romania, the third biggest agricultural producer of the EU and the largest in maize production, to tackle these problems and facilitate quality fodder supply to different countries.
Today, the company is based in Cobadin, Constanta region, Romania. Its goal is to process and supply farms abroad with quality sun-cured alfalfa, wheat/barley straw or a mixture of the two at different proportions. The forage is all grown and processed in Romania, without the use of irrigation, with minimal to zero use of chemical additives or synthetic substances at any stage of production, to guarantee a natural, healthy, and sustainable feed.
